A regenerative sustainability practice using textiles as a medium to explore circular design, systems thinking, and community care. Through hands-on engagement, we transform discarded materials into meaningful outcomes that foster creativity, connection, and a more sustainable way forward.

Ancestral Approach To Textile Sustainability

Mahdiyyah is a regenerative textile artist, educator, and sustainability consultant working at the intersection of culture, circular design, and systems change. Rooted in Ancestral African practices of repair and reuse, she transforms discarded textiles into functional art, educational tools, and experiential programs that reframe waste as a resource.

She partners with brands, schools, and cultural institutions to design hands-on experiences and strategies that bring sustainability to life, blending creative engagement with systems thinking to help organizations rethink waste, value, and the life-cycle of materials.
